IPSO WASHER ISSUE

I'm dealing with an IPSO washer issue that I haven't seen before.  It's an inverter model (50lb machine) that sometimes just stops spinning in the middle of a cycle.  The timer will continue to count down through the cycle, but the basket isn't turning in either direction.

Belts look fine, and it's the intermittent nature that makes it hard to identify.

Probably a drain valve problem. Check to see that not only is the rubber hose clear from the drain valve but there isn't a credit card that is between the drum and the opening to the rubber hose.

Check the bottom switch on the door lock, the 24V inverter signal goes through this switch.

I just had the same issue a few weeks ago.   It turned out to be the drain valve motor was going bad and would not open.  I replaced and it has been working fine so far.
