If an estimated bill isn't the problem, and you checked for water leaks when all machines were off, you might do a visual on the amount of water each cycle is filling to. Check the water level on the glass to the machines next to each other. Sometimes water fill adjustments need to be made. Also especially ...

Is the issue limited to only specific machines? if your bathroom hot water gets it supply from the same source as washers is the bathroom water hot? Than it's definitely your heater system. Do you notice it only when store is busy, or all the time.  Has this been a ongoing problem or just started happening.  ...

I'm sorry I don't understand the comment you made.  Only open multiple locations if you own the property.  I do appreciate the fact that owning the building your business out of is a preferred. But not always possible. Why give up potential profits from running a laundromat out of a leased premise.  ...

Many years ago we used baby oil. While baby oil will put a glow on the stainless, it won't remove water or other type of grease or stains.  Shilla Shine works great if you keep up a regular routine. At the beginning at least 2X/wk. once the stains are gone you can reduce the frequency. But need to still ...

I haven't found email marketing effective.  It's to broad of a population.  I have tried emailing my customers that haven't been in awhile. I offer them an incentive to come back and give us a try.  Any 1 comforter, except down $5 I have also learned by receiving back responses to my emails that stayed ...

Yard signs are good.  The best prices are on line. Make sure you don't put on any private property.   Make sure there is no ordinance against them.  You can try flyers, or direct mailers.  You can pick the zip codes you want to canvas  ------------------------------ DENISE RUBENSTEIN Laundermagic of ...

Stack dryers have been my preference.  you can always find what to do with any extra space they may achieve.  That said. You have to think twice before considering raising your stack dryers.  As they are regularly installed if you take notice some of my smaller customers have to really stretch to get ...

We have 1 of 6 mats with a leased out W&F service.  I offered it out to an existing attendant.  She had been at store for over 10 yrs.  She did a great job with W&F and was always on top of keeping the mat clean, and friendly to all the customers.  She knows most of the W/F customers by name.  ...

You shouldn't have odors emanating from your washers. Make sure you keep washer doors open when not in use. I would look for the root cause of the problem. You have water sitting somewhere in your drainage system. What your smelling could be stagnant water. Check washer by washer to determine if it's ...

In my experience the HVAC is usually not provided by the landlord. If it is make sure you check who's responsible for maintaining and replacing the unit when necessary.  Also keep in mind that the size of the A/C unit will have to be 2-3times higher tonnage than for a normal retail use.
