Not sure I would want a machine that requires any kind of stool to access it. I knew a woman that made a misstep off of a single step stool and had a trifecta break of the ankle. (Not in a laundromat) And being a diabetic with surgeries, prolonged healing, 6 months in a wheelchair, rehab, ramps built ...

Also the internal screen(s) can plug in a water meter effecting flow. A while ago I removed a 1 1/2" meter to replace it and the internals were so clogged I don't know how we were getting a adequate water supply.

I'll just throw this out there as a possibility. A lot of detergent manufacturers are making and promoting cold water detergents. Maybe more customers are opting for a cold or warm cycle.

10,000 pounds would be 200 pounds per unit weekly. Seems highly unlikely unless they are stripping each unit bare each day.

Well, I can chime in on the coin problem. I have a closed system with p traps. I have Maytag frontloaders which have a slight gap between the drum and the door. I dump buckets of coins that make it past the basket and through the drain valves and into the traps. Larry, Are you sure you have owned a mat ...

Probably the reason the banks are getting away from them is that they are a maintenance nightmare and are constantly abused. I said the same thing a long long time ago. My problem is not so much the heat off the glass as it is people leaving the dryers open after use even though they are clearly marked on the door to CLOSE after use. A lot of heat rolls out of a half dozen dryers that just finished the heating cycle.

With LVP it is all dependent on the wear layer chosen. If you choose something like one with a 8 mil wear layer it will not hold up as it is best suited for residential use. For commercial you need to get into the 20-28 mil wear layer for it to hold up. They do make tile with a 40 mil wear layer but ...

Tide claims coldwater clean contains smart suds technology which collapses suds so it is formulated for frontload washers. If you want suds keep a squeeze bottle of Dawn handy but only a drop or two at a time.

It is all about customer service. Some are into it and some not so much. Most all requests I get are from people that just need a dollar to finish their drying. I still pick up pennies. Reminds me of where I came from with nothing.
