Larry+Michael, I like your idea of using a heat exchanger. You could even fill it with antifreeze and steam distilled water. I am going to look into that. Thanks. ------------------------------ Curt Harrington ------------------------------ ------------------------------------------- Original Message: ...

Something that I need to know. My water is liquid rocks with some water mixed in! I have used a number of treatment ideas. With the exception of creating a magnetic field around your pipe they all do work to some degree of success. Question. What heater works best with my kind of water? Has anyone discovered ...

Deward, I really do not want to use a salt based system for a number of reasons. Mainly they waste a huge amount of water. My current system adds citric acid without wasting any water but does not do a good enough job. I should start a different topic. I didn't mean to hijack a different discussion. ...

And I thought I was behind because they were a few weeks behind on cleaning. If they continue to work you owe money back to the people who made them. The fins being that clogged makes me think you should should look at your dryer vents. I do not think your building has the proper makeup air. ------- ...

The wall above my dryers has a board from the bottom to the back wall at a 45 degree angle for support. Way easier to change out dryers. Just get some insulation (the 10 ft pipe wrap works well) to sit under the wall between it and the dryer. You will thank me in fifteen years. ------------------------------ ...

Look at this seriously. That valve is attempting to deliver both hot and cold through a 3/8 tube to a drum that washes 80 pounds of clothes.  Use two different  Wascomat valves with a 5/8 hose to the drum! ------------------------------ Curt Harrington ------------------------------

I did something like that years ago. I had to put a stop in so they would only swing one direction. Then built a latch using a solenoid I put on a timer. ------------------------------ Curt Harrington ------------------------------

No question the Gen 4 Wascomats were one of the greatest machines ever built. I do not doubt the lack of money required to maintain them. Now having said that...I really miss my 56 Chevy Belair with the 265 motor. It only needed points from time to time. ------------------------------ Curt Harrington ...

"Same reason McDonalds puts tons of ice in their cups before adding the soda." This has always puzzled me. It is common practice to fill a cup with ice. But when you look at the cost of an ice machine combined with the repair and maintenance they would be better off giving you more carbonated water. ...

Michael has an excellent point. Women often ask me how many washes there are. Come to think about it I have never been asked how many rinses. I agree with the flush valve but ONLY if you have the volume to support it! If not don't even think about it. Whatever you do, do not install one of those with the round push stainless on the top for pressure. If you buy one from Canada it will have enough water to actually work. They don't have any ...

Medico makes a lock that you can use in your vending machines. That will help if they are picking the lock. But a number of years ago someone pulled the lock out completely.
